The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to various dining options and a short stroll to amenities. The rooms, although smaller than expected, were impeccably clean with plush, comfortable beds. Some noise is expected given the older building. The location offers easy access to Newport and is ideal for exploring the island conveniently.
The hotel rooms were good size and serviced, ideal for our two-night short break, but the check-in was delayed until 3 pm due to a linen delivery issue. The location is convenient, surrounded by pubs, restaurants, and close to the town center. The dining experience was a mix, with a disorganized setup but nice food options. I found the service to be friendly and appreciated the availability of pet amenities.
The hotel is wonderfully located, close to the harbor and within reach of the historical area of Newport. The rooms in the new section overlooking the garden were modern but a bit noisy due to traffic outside and sounds from upstairs showers. The service was excellent, especially the housekeeping, and pet amenities were available. Dining options were a hit and miss, with inconsistent quality but included in the room rate. The facilities were satisfactory, and the BB lacked toiletries. The central location offers convenience for exploring the island.
